About

About the event ..

“The Trailwalker” is a 100Km  journey over the volcanic mountains of Hakkone National Park in Japan. The course has to be completed by our entire team of four athletes (?) in less than 48 hours.  Oxfam gaily call it a “satisfying physical endeavour !”, then “a great challenge!” before finally admitting that it is in fact “a challenging endurance event”

About the team ..

Fortunately the team have trained hard. Well, we talked about it quite extensively. We firmly agreed we could benefit from some more “satisfying physical endeavours”. So before the beer wore off, we signed up. Our team is named “Snailwalkers” after our likely pace.
