Well, as if my first year in Japan was not rocked by the proposal of doing the Tokyo Marathon, Paul and Joe have been most kind and have got me all signed up for the Oxfam Trailwalker Japan … which consists of a mere 100km in 48 hours across the mountainous terrain of Hakkone National Park !
It brings to mind those beautiful words uttered by the great Marlon Brando in Apocalypse Now: “The Horror … The Horror” !!
